Andrea Navedo has been published as an author, and she is also an actor. She began by appearing in morning soaps like One Life to Live or Guiding Light, and later was a supporting actress on primetime TV. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in The Bronx NY) is an American actress and singer. Navedo began her acting career by playing actresses in daytime television soap operas. In 1995-1997, she played Linda Soto in ABC's soap drama One Life to Live. Then, in 1999, she changed her name to Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. Her film debut came by playing a minor character in Girl 6 (1996) then starred in episodes of New York Undercover and The District. In 2001 Navedo played a supporting role in the action comedy film Double Take and the following year in the drama film Washington Heights. From 2001 to 2004 Navedo played a regular role in the NBC crime drama Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages followed and Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in a variety of movies, such as El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo played recurring parts for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 between 2011 and 2013. Superfast! was her first film. The film that parodies The Fast and the Furious series debuted in the year 2015. Navedo started her acting career with the daytime soap operas. She played Linda Soto, the ABC soap show One Life to Live from 1995 until 1997. Then, in 1999, she made her debut as Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. She debuted in the film industry through a role of Girl 6 (1996), then went on to guest star in New York Undercover and The District.
