This film was awarded a prize at the Rome Film Festival. Asia produced her debut feature film Scarlet Diva (1999), where she was both the lead actress and also the creator of its screenplay. The film premiered in May 2000 across Italy as well as around the world. The Williamsburg Film festival held in Brooklyn, New York awarded the film with a top prize.
